Textura | An International Storytelling Project
Textura is a collaborative effort between a team of Guatemalan and Minnesotan designers, photographers, and reporters. In January 2022 the two groups met in Antiuga, Guatemala to report on cultural and depth stories. In the two months that followed I worked to finalize the magazine and web presence.
My role was as Art Director. Savannah Heeren acted as co-Art Director while in Guatemala. In the months after returning I worked with my Professor to compile the designs of the entire team, finalize the brand guidelines we created collaboratively, and send the publication to print.
seektextura.com serves as the online presence for the Textura project
The website serves as support to the Magazine and the Project as a whole. It is minimally designed with focus on providing background information on the project and driving people to purchase the print magazine. It houses digital versions of each print story as well.
